Girls 2012 AAU Championships Congratulations to 6th Navy on winning the 2012 AAU Girls Basketball D1 National Championship! Congratulations to 6th Navy Girls and 11th Girls on their 2012 D1 State Championships! Tennessee Fury is a faith-based AAU basketball organization founded to physically and spiritually impact youth in the Knoxville area through competitive athletics. We will field competitive teams who will play with intensity and effort with an emphasis on the positive outcomes that are a result of hard work. We will teach the game with a focus on fundamentals and individual improvement. We will challenge our players to be leaders on and off the court and who will represent themselves, their families, their coaches, and their schools with honor and integrity. |
TN Fury Summer Open GymParents;TN Fury will be holding open gyms for rising 3rd - 8th grade boys (Thursday Nights) and girls (Wednesday Nights) again this season. Our location is Christian Academy of Knoxville Middle School Gym located at 529 Christian Academy Blvd in Knoxville! This is open to anyone! We will start on Wednesday, May 29th and go through August 8th. There are no attendance requirements....it's come when you are available. The cost is only $30 for the entire summer. Again this year, we will have great looking open gym t-shirts (while supplies last!) The goal of summer open gym is to let the boys and girls play with and against the best competition in Knoxville with minimal coaching instruction. We also will continue our focus on 30 minutes of ball-handling each open gym session. Last year we averaged around 30 kids per session and they represented 40+ different schools in the area. We will continue to offer an optional bible study that the boys and girls are welcome to take part in if they are interested.
